Scientific and Practical Conference on Epilepsy at Okhmatdyt: Together for Children’s Health

On May 1, 2026, the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt” hosted the scientific and practical conference “Epilepsy: from Clinical Neurophysiology to Modern Methods of Diagnosis and Treatment.”

The event brought together leading specialists in pediatric neurology from various cities across Ukraine, in a hybrid offline+online format.

The conference program covered a wide range of актуальні topics: from fundamental mechanisms of epileptogenesis and modern international treatment protocols to practical aspects of EEG diagnostics, video monitoring, polysomnography, and surgical approaches. Among the speakers were leading neurologists, epileptologists, and neurophysiologists from Kyiv, Lviv, Uzhhorod, and other cities.

The conference concluded with a practical workshop titled “Electroencephalography.”

We, the team of DX SYSTEMS LLC, are proud that our equipment was used as the tool for this practical session. Participants had the opportunity not only to gain theoretical knowledge from leading experts but also to work directly with modern equipment and experience its capabilities firsthand.

For us, participation in such an event is much more than a product demonstration. It is a confirmation of our mission: to provide Ukrainian doctors with high-quality diagnostic tools so that every child with epilepsy receives timely and accurate care. Seeing our equipment in the hands of true professionals at institutions like Okhmatdyt is the greatest reward for our team.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the main organizer of the conference — Rimon company — for the excellent organization and for creating a truly high-quality professional platform. We also thank the team of Okhmatdyt, especially Halyna Fedushka, for their openness, support, and the spirit of partnership that permeated the entire event.

Special thanks to all speakers and participants who found the time and inspiration to join this event even in challenging times. It is thanks to people like them that Ukrainian medicine continues to develop and move forward.
